No. And that's the point. SwiftPAT isn't another PAT tester you need to buy.

You do the actual electrical testing using your own equipment and experience. That might be a dedicated PAT tester, separate test instruments or manual testing where appropriate.

Enter your readings and select PASS or FAIL in SwiftPAT. It records the results, keeps the appliance history, prints the QR-coded tag and puts everything together in your reports.

You bring the tester. SwiftPAT brings the paperwork under control.

None in particular. SwiftPAT isn't tied to any tester brand or model.

Use the PAT tester you already own, whether it's a Metrel, Fluke, Seaward, Megger, Kyoritsu or another brand. You can also record results from separate test instruments or manual testing where appropriate.

SwiftPAT doesn't connect to or control your tester. You simply enter the results into the app. No special cables, integrations or new testing equipment needed.

Yes. SwiftPAT is a record-keeping and test tag printing app, not a testing instrument.

If you carry out the required inspections and measurements using separate instruments and appropriate test methods, you can enter those results directly into SwiftPAT.

You don't need to buy a particular PAT tester just to use the app.

No. Work in a basement, plant room, switch room or halfway across a paddock. SwiftPAT works offline, so you don't need mobile reception, an internet connection or even an account. Your records stay on your device.

Yes. Set the client's region to New Zealand and SwiftPAT uses the New Zealand-specific settings provided for AS/NZS 3760:2022.

Not yet. SwiftPAT runs on Android phones and tablets.

On your Android phone or tablet, inside the app. Your records are not uploaded to us, and we cannot access or view them.

Your records are stored on that device, so keep a separate backup. Use Import / Export to save a client's file to email, Google Drive or another location. SwiftPAT can also remind you when a backup is due. See Back up and move to a new phone.

Yes, up to four per test. They are kept with the record and print in PDF reports.

Quite a lot, actually. Test and tag, retesting, QR scanning, appliance records, photos, readings and PDF and Excel reports. You can have unlimited clients, sites and appliances, with no trial period or expiry date.

Pro is there if you want faster printing, bulk reprinting and reports without the SAMPLE mark.

Pro adds three things: no 20-second wait before printing, bulk reprinting for a whole site or location, and reports without the SAMPLE mark. See Pricing.

Your records are not affected and the app continues to work. The 20-second print wait and SAMPLE mark on reports are re-enabled.

No. A Pro purchase made before the subscription keeps working permanently.

Google Play charges in your local currency. The price shown in Google Play is the one that applies.

No. The mobile app works completely on its own. Desktop is for managing records and reports from a Windows PC.
